About us

Bundaleer has been part of Brookfield since 1959.

Set within four acres of established rainforest, just 16 kilometres from Brisbane CBD, Bundaleer has welcomed generations of guests for more than 65 years and is now one of Brisbane’s longest-established garden wedding venues.

The property was originally part of a larger dairy farm, reflecting the rural history of Brookfield and the surrounding district. Over time, the land was transformed into the lush rainforest gardens that define Bundaleer today, while retaining the natural character and peaceful atmosphere of the property.

Since Bundaleer was established in 1959, it has been cared for by only a small number of owners. Each has contributed to the preservation of the property, and many of those connections remain today, with former owners and their families still returning to visit.

Over the decades, Bundaleer has hosted countless celebrations, gatherings and special occasions. For more than 30 years, Bundaleer has specialised in weddings, welcoming couples and their families from Brisbane and beyond. While the property has continued to evolve, many of the features that make Bundaleer distinctive remain unchanged. Towering trees, established rainforest gardens, a picturesque creek and the privacy of the surrounding landscape create a setting that feels removed from the city, despite being only a short drive from Brisbane CBD.

Today, Bundaleer is proudly family owned and operated, with three generations of our family involved in caring for the property and welcoming our couples and guests.

We are proud to care for Bundaleer and to continue building on its long history, while preserving the character and natural beauty that have defined the property for generations.
